MY FIELDS OF STUDY
For the past 15+ years I have been into Tarot meditations. Using the Thoth deck I have put a great deal of time into studying the philosophical attributes of each card, the symbolism of each card, and the signs contained within each image. Over the course of that time I haven't come close to meditating on even half the deck as I have found each card to be so vibrantly full of detail and meaning.
I have also engaged in philosophical study of Liber Legis (Book of the Law) and Kabbalah during the same period. My practice is to take a concept that I have read, meditate upon it for a few moments or a few weeks, carefully pondering the idea subjectively. Later while studying or simply walking down the street I may spy something totally ambiguous to me. Recalling what I was meditating on previously many times brings both things into focus often without my even trying.
I have a fondness for religious/philosophical study and am firmly grounded in my beliefs, though this does not preclude me studying various theosophies regardless if they are contrary in nature to my own. I have studied in depth Christianity in many of it's denominatory forms, Gnosticism, ancient Babylonian/Assyrian, Buddhism, Hinduism, Satanism (both humanism and 'devil-worship'), Judaism (my 'core' system of belief), Islam, Aristotle, Darwinism, Zoroaster, and ofcourse Thelema as well as many other theosophical ideaologies.
My current studies/practices include Raja Yoga, and continued research into Thelemic philosophy and theology alongside Kaballah and Torah. I am in the process of converting all my personal workings to Thelemic rituals in accordance with the Aeon of Horus. I hope to begin soon understanding and practicing the art of practical acupuncture.
My personality attribute card is the Hermit.
